Again thsi year the Health and Safety Unit of th eEducation Department organised a week long event to promote Health and Safety to all local schools.

This event was held at pembroke and FSE again for th efourth year was the sponsor for this event. FSE provided its fire engine and two ambulances plus its fire and also first aid intructors to be present durign thsi event to teach children fo all ages different aspects in fire prevention and first aid.

Members of MENA, the association of Emergency Nurses, also gave a helping hand by providing on each day some of its members to help teach the kids.

Different scenarios where created in which scholl children where shown around to evaluate scenarios regardign health and safety.
